No Jordan Reed, no problem. That seems to be the mentality so far for the Washington Redskins, as Case Keenum hooked up with tight end Vernon Davis for an impressive 48-yard touchdown on the oppening drive of the game.
Davis caught a short out-route near midfield and hurdled a defended on the edge, taking the pass the rest of the way for six. It was a highlight-reel play that rarely comes in Washington, and it’s sure to get the Redskins fanbase hyped for the opening season.
They currently lead the Philadelphia Eagles, and the offense looked adequate in the opening drive. If this is any indication of what the season might hold, it could be a fun one in Washington.
