Watch vandals glue locks at Seacroft NHS surgery in mindless attack

Patients were forced to miss appointments at a GP surgery in east Leeds after vandals glued all of the locks.

Staff at The Grange Medical Centre in York Road, Seacroft, were unable to get into the building for two hours on the morning of Monday, February 10

They found that all the locks, padlocks and fire escapes had been glued by vandals at around 9.50pm on Sunday, February 9.

The NHS surgery has released CCTV footage of the vandals and is appealing for anyone who recognises them to come forward.

In a statement, the surgery said: "We would like to apologise to all our patients following yesterdays events at The Grange Medical Centre.

"We were unable to gain access to The Grange Medical Centre building due to vandalism caused on Sunday.

"The severity of the damage prevented us from gaining access until 10am (due to open at 8am).

"This did not only affect us but also Colton Mill and Lloyds Pharmacy.

"The mindless vandalism that was carried out had a huge impact on our ability provide vital health care services to the community.

"We have CCTV evidence of the crime and the police are currently investigating. If you have any information about this please contact 101 or our Practice Operations Manager on 0113 2951828."
