A video from the latest round of US-Iran talks in Switzerland has gone viral online, sparking debate over a brief interaction involving Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and US Vice President JD Vance.
The clip, widely shared on social media platform X, appears to show the Qatari leader greeting Shehbaz Sharif while JD Vance stands nearby without receiving a greeting. The moment quickly fuelled claims online that Vance had been "snubbed" or "humiliated" during the high-level diplomatic gathering.
However, none of the governments involved in the talks have publicly described the interaction as a diplomatic slight.
