When your a big-time college football head coach, your time is understandably consumed by gameplans, recruiting, and watching film. And it’s not just a seasonal thing, but all year long at a place like OSU. Because if you’re taking a break, someone else isn’t.
So then we shouldn’t be surprised that Urban Meyer isn’t in tune with everything that Columbus has to offer. Dave Holmes of CBS affiliate WBNS TV in Columbus caught up with the former Ohio State coach and asked him what he’s been doing with his free time.
It appears he’s made some time to make it to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium not far from his home in Northwest Columbus, but there’s one exhibit that he was apparently surprised to know existed in Buckeye crazed Central Ohio. Yes, the Columbus Zoo does indeed have a Wolverine exhibit which no doubt surprised Urban Meyer.
Get a look as Meyer looks completely surprised by it and his response to “never planning” on visiting that exhibit. Funny stuff here — especially the look on Meyer’s face.
No worries Urbs, Wolverines are pretty tame these days.
