WATCH: Urban Meyer break down edge pass rushing taught at Ohio State

It’s no secret that Ohio State has had some umm — pretty good defensive ends doing their work in Columbus over the last few years. Joey Bosa, Nick Bosa, and now Chase Young are making literal millions upon millions with what they have been taught and have put into practice on the banks of the Olentangy.

And beyond.

Those guys all came out of the box ready to toy with, but you can credit one of the best defensive line coaches in the country for their development, Larry Johnson.

Obviously Johnson isn’t giving away any of his secrets, but there’s one guy that hired him that knows the blend of special seasonings that go into the sauce. It’s one Urban Meyer of course.

Meyer has been great on television for FOX and the Big Ten Network, and he did a segment on the Big Noon Kickoff Show that’s well worth the watch. You can click on the below and watch him breakdown what’s taught at the defensive end position at Ohio State and how to counter what the offensive lineman the end do as the rush comes at the quarterback.

Fascinating stuff.
