In the fourth quarter of UGA’s contest against the visiting Missouri Tigers, the Dawgs were looking for a touchdown to essentially put the game away after many stellar drives had ended with only field goals.
On a beautifully thrown ball from Jake Fromm, freshman wide receiver George Pickens delivered just that, extending out for an incredible touchdown grab in the corner of the end zone.
Plays like this help explain why many suspect that Pickens may go onto be Georgia’s best receiver since AJ Green from a pure talent perspective.
The Dawgs would go on to cash in on a two-point conversion attempt to receiver James Cook to go up 27-0.
