Watch UFC 243 press conference video with Robert Whittaker, Israel Adesanya at 10 p.m. ET

It’ll be champion vs. interim champion Oct. 5 (Oct. 6 locally) when reigning UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittakerand interim champion Israel Adesanya face off in a title unification battle at the 56,000-seat Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.

Whittaker (20-4 MMA, 11-2 UFC) has suffered a host of injury setbacks in his recent career, but remains unbeaten in his past nine outings. Adesanya (17-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) has looked outstanding since switching his skill set from the kickboxing ring to the octagon. Now the two are set to face off in the first all-Antipodean title fight in UFC history in front of a huge crowd in the same venue that saw Holly Holm spectacularly dethrone Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 in November 2015.

Ahead of the action, the two men will take part in a news conference at Deakin Edge in Federation Square in Melbourne on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET (Thursday locally).

You can watch the press conference in the video above.
