WATCH: Tyreek Hill, Gehrig Dieter getting in extra work this offseason

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Gehrig Dieter are back at it again.

Earlier this offseason, the two were spotted getting some work in with former Sporting KC striker Max Rugova. Now it appears the two are back in Overland Park, Kan., and working with local sports trainer Luther Glover. Glover has also worked with some other Chiefs players like Patrick Mahomes and Demarcus Robinson this summer.

Hill and Dieter also worked out together last offseason in Overland Park. Hill posted a video of that workout on his YouTube channel. Now they’re back at Shawnee Mission South football stadium recording their workouts for all of Chiefs Kingdom to see.

I think the one thing that is quite noticeable in these short clips is that Hill is significantly faster than Dieter. We probably don’t need a video to come to that conclusion. Hill already has the reputation of being the NFL’s fastest player.

In the straight-line clips, it isn’t quite as noticeable because it looks like Dieter got a bit of a jump on Hill. However, when it comes to the cone drills, Hill looks much more sudden and explosive.

Fans took to Twitter to hash out the difference between the two players and Dieter responded.

Nothing wrong with being “The Sheepdog” when you put in the work to get better. It’s clear that Dieter is doing a little extra this offseason, working on things like his speed and footwork, in order to take his game to a new level in 2019.
