Watch: Tulane stuns Houston after fantastic trick play

Tulane defeated Houston, 38-31, in a fascinating Thursday night game in New Orleans.

The Green Wave hoodwinked the Cougars with a trick play as they appeared to be in formation to take a knee and play for overtime.

On the next play, Justin McMillan found Jalen McCleskey for 53 yards and the game-winning TD with 3 seconds left.

That equates to 2 plays for 71 yards, including the best trick play in many a year. The Green Wave trailed 28-7 in the second quarter and turned it around for their biggest comeback victory in 17 years.

Oh, and for those of you who are into this sort of thing, Tulane was favored any anywhere from 4.5-5 points. And you know what that means.

As an 11-year-old sitting in the stands with her crazed father at the Liberty Bowl on Dec. 31, 1998, never did I ever dream that something like Twitter would exist and that on one night in 2019, it would be taken over by Tulane highlights.
