WATCH: Trevor Rosenthal finally records an out

Trevor Rosenthal’s Buzz Lightyear impersonation has come to an end.

The Nationals reliever’s ERA of infinity (and beyond) dropped to a solid 72.00 on Wednesday after he recorded his first out of the 2019 season.

The Phillies’ Andrew Knapp, the 11th batter Rosenthal faced on the season, had the honors of being sent back to the dugout first. Prior to Knapp’s at-bat, Rosenthal had been tagged with seven earned runs on just 10 batters faced.

The reliever clearly is having a tough time getting back into the swing of things as he returns from Tommy John surgery. At least his ERA is now sub-100.
