It looks like Halloween is coming a little early for New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold.
Darnold was picked off by Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Tre Herndon with 2:09 in the first quarter. The interception was Herndon’s first of his career:
Herndon has had some large shoes to fill as he has been thrust into a more prominent role with former cornerback Jalen Ramsey no longer on the team. The second year cornerback came into the game with 18 tackles and four pass breakups.
The Jaguars currently lead the Jets 19-7 at the half-time break.
