WATCH: Travis Kelce smashes home runs at Jarvis Landry’s celebrity softball game

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce spent Saturday in his home state of Ohio for Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry’s celebrity softball game.

Kelce spent the day at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio. He spoke with the media, and had gushing praise for the state of Ohio, while also speaking a bit on former Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt.

Kelce is recovering from ankle surgery, and has yet be cleared to return to practice with the Chiefs, but he’s expected to be ready for training camp. Despite his injury he certainly looks more than capable of being able to compete on the baseball diamond. Players got together to compete in a pre-game home run derby, and Kelce looked quite comfortable behind the plate.

A fan in observance claims that Kelce crushed 15 home runs in three minutes time and he even got some video of Kelce doing his thing. Take a look:

I’m curious about the walk-up music that Kelce used, because you’ve got to have some special tunes to go out there and crush 15 home runs.

Maybe in the future Big Slick will bring a home run derby to Kansas City for their celebrity softball game. Patrick Mahomes hit a home run during their game in 2019. It’d be fun to see Mahomes and Kelce face off in a home run derby. That’d surely make for some offseason excitement during the month of June.
