Watch: Tourists Save Monkey from Raging River - Heartwarming Rescue Goes Viral

What makes us human is our ability to think and help our fellow beings. The timely act of a group of men recently saved the life of a monkey, and no prizes for guessing that the video of the episode is gaining attention online.

The heart-touching scene

In a video shared on X by user Nikhil Saini, a group of tourists is seen enjoying a river rafting trip. Soon, they see a monkey in the river, paddling frantically. Though one of them tries to push the monkey, others are seen discouraging him, saying that it would scare the animal. But later, upon understanding that the monkey is struggling in the water, they decide to help it. Further, in the video, the group can be seen rescuing the monkey by gently looping a rope around its lower body. As the raft begins to move forward, they guide the monkey along with them, keeping the pace steady in order to not to startle or hurt it. Though the animal appears tense at first, gradually it is seen relaxing after apparently understanding the humans are not trying to harm but to help.

'His expression says it all'

The video ends with the men pulling the monkey close to the shore and untying the rope.

“Probably the most heartwarming video on the internet today. A rafting team rescuing a helpless monkey trapped in the fierce currents of the Ganga. He may not be able to express his gratitude in words, but his expressions say it all,” reads the caption.

Yes, the timely act of this group of men has saved the life of an animal who would have drowned in the freezing water if ignored.
