The Cleveland Browns have scored their second defensive touchdown of the game as second-year linebacker Tony Fields II picked off Kyle Allen and returned it for a touchdown against the Houston Texans. This makes it two weeks in a row where the Browns have gotten consistent production out of their 2021 NFL Draft fifth round pick.
He is now the starting WILL linebacker in base packages, and here he capitalizes on a Chase Winovich deflected pass on a blown-up screen pass to give the Browns a comfortable lead. If you would have told me the defense would outscore the offense in this game, I would have laughed. The Browns have now managed three takeaways in this game as well.
