Todd Gurley watched Malcolm Brown score two touchdowns in the red zone in Week 1. He finally got his chance to pound one into the end zone against the Saints, and the Rams’ star running back delivered.
Gurley has had a few solid runs so far against New Orleans, with quite a few of them coming on pitches. It was no surprise that the Rams found Gurley on a pitch for his first touchdown of the year. The touchdown will come as a relief to many fantasy owners who feared Brown would become the team’s goal line back.
Gurley has practically lived in the end zone over the past few years, scoring 40 total touchdowns between 2017 and 2018. This surely won’t be his last of 2019.
