Last year, former Georgia running back Todd Gurley was asked what some of his dislikes were. The Los Angeles Rams running back said he is not a fan of driving or waking up early.
He also added: “I hate dogs. I love cats, though. Cats are so cool. Actually, I’m probably gonna get some this year.”
Well, a year passed by and he never did get that cat…until now.
On Wednesday, Gurley showed off his new cat to the world via Instagram. A first time owner, the Tarboro native asked for some advice.
There you have it. Gurley finally got that cat he’d been wanting. But if what he said last year was true, he should be getting another one eventually.
Last year, when asked about how many cats he was going to get, he responded:
“Two, at least, so they can conversate or whatever. I mean, how would I feel if I was a cat and someone bought me and just left me by myself for like 20 years?”
