Watch: Titans release Derrick Henry hype video after signing

The Tennessee Titans and their fans have reason to celebrate now that running back Derrick Henry will be sticking around for the long haul.

Tennessee inked their star running back to a four-year, $50 million contract on Wednesday, with $25.5 million guaranteed. The deal will keep Henry in Nashville through the 2023 season.

The raise was well-deserved for Henry, who led the NFL in rushing yards (1,540), touchdowns (16), attempts (303) and yards per game (102.7) in 2019, while also being the key cog that propelled the team to the AFC Championship Game.

Shortly after announcing the multi-year deal for Henry, the Titans put out this hype video featuring their back on social media.

Henry also took to social media to thank the fans for their support through the entire process.

“Appreciate everybody for all the love today & the fans through the whole process,” he wrote on Instagram.

Nobody is happier about Henry’s extension than Ryan Tannehill, who thrived off the play-action last season as a result of the mere threat the Alabama product poses on the ground.

Now, the Titans’ offense will look to build upon its great success during the last 10 games of the 2019 regular season with the ultimate goal of fulfilling the Super Bowl aspirations this team has in 2020.
