The Tom Brady free agency situation is hitting new levels of hysteria.
On Saturday, Brady and his (soon-to-be?) teammate and New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman attended the college basketball game between North Carolina and Syracuse.
While at the game, the camera panned to the pair sitting courtside, which prompted Edelman to say, “He’s coming back! He’s coming back!”
Then, a video surfaced showing Edelman and Brady on FaceTime with their good buddy and former teammate, Mike Vrabel.
Of course, Vrabel is the head coach of the Tennessee Titans, the team that is considered one of the favorites to land Brady should he not return to New England.
While this is certainly notable because of that, nobody should be reading too much into this. The trio are good friends and at most this was just an epic troll on Edelman’s part, who seems to be having fun with the situation.
