Watch: Titans’ Derrick Henry breaks loose for 52-yard TD run vs. Texans

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is looking to accomplish the rare feat of rushing for 2,000 yards in a single season and he helped his cause with a 52-yard rushing touchdown against the Texans in Week 17.

Henry got some great blocks from his offensive line and then made a slick cutback move to bust through the hole en route to taking it to the house.

With the score, the Titans took a 10-3 lead over the Texans, and at the end of two quarters Tennessee has a 17-6 lead. Of course, a Titans win would lead to their securing the franchise’s first AFC South title since 2008.

Check out Henry’s impressive scamper:

At the half, Henry has 113 yards, which means he needs just 110 more to become the eighth player in NFL history to reach the 2,000-yard mark.

Henry has already secured the rushing title, and he’s the first player since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006-07 to win back-to-back rushing crowns.
