Watch: Titans’ Derrick Henry accidentally leveled own QB at Alabama

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is a sizable human being.

Just about any player — including Earl Thomas — who has had to try to contain the Titans’ star rusher would probably tell you that he’s a difficult guy to bring down.

Henry’s been an absolute bulldozer since his early days of playing football, and his college career at Alabama was no different.

The 6-foot-3, 247-pound back took what appeared to be a botched handoff in one particular Crimson Tide practice and accidentally leveled his own quarterback. It looked like the signal-caller ran into a brick wall.

Of course, being the considerate teammate he is, Henry did attempt to help him up after the blunder.

The former Heisman Trophy winner was a force at Alabama, and has obviously since become an even more prolific one at the NFL level.

The running back propelled the Titans’ offense through the postseason after he finished out the regular season with the NFL’s rushing title (1,540 yards) over Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns.

The Titans placed the franchise tag on Henry and signed quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a four-year extension worth $118 million to keep two of their most important pieces intact as they prepare for the 2020 season.

Expect Henry to continue making his impact felt when football starts again later this year.
