Watch: Tigers taking down drone in china - then attempting to eat it

In the latest nature versus technology showdown, a group of tigers have been filmed taking out a drone mid-flight.

The video has emerged from a Siberian tiger enclosure in China’s Heilongjiang Province, which uses the flying tech to keep their animals fit. The footage shows their immediate instinct to chase the drones before actually swatting one out of the air and attempting to dispose of it like any other prey.

The tigers only recoil as the piece of machinery beings to smoke. Staff members then entered the enclosure to remove the camera’s clawed and chewed remains.

Video from another camera then shows several of the animals dashing through the snow as they chase after the flying object.

Recently, another contest played out between big cat and bird in Australia, when a duck decided to enter the pool of a Sumatran tiger at Symbio Wildlife Park.

This time however it was the bird that emerged victorious, ducking and diving to avoid the 126kg animal’s leaps and swipes.
