WATCH: Tiger Woods looks ‘solid,’ ahead of PGA Championship despite weather, month off

The second major of the 2018-2019 PGA Tour season is on deck — the PGA Championship tees off Thursday.

Bethpage Black in Long Island hosts the major for the first time ever. The public course was the home to two previous U.S. Opens and two FedEx Cup Playoff events.

The PGA Championship is in May instead of August for just the fourth time ever. Most excitingly, perhaps, Tiger Woods is back for the first time since his legndary Master’s win last month.

Despite wet, cool weather, Woods looks “solid,” according to caddie Joe LaCava after arriving at the course a week early. Woods won the US Open at Bethpage back in 2002 and finished in the top 10 at the same event on the course in 2009.
