Everton fans were finally able to give their side a rapturous reception once more as they took to the field for their final home match of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Blues take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday evening and were able to welcome back 6,500 supporters back to Goodison Park.
This is the first occasion fans have been inside the ground since December 2020, when 2,000 were allowed for matches against Chelsea and Arsenal in Premier League - and for a League Cup clash with Manchester United.
The game against Wolves housed the most supporters that have been inside the stadium since football was first brought to a half in March 2020.
And, as the siren blared out and Z-Cars rang around the stadium once more, supporters showed their huge appreciation for being back in their seats.
The 6,500 made a noise which sounded closer to 20,000 when the players made their way onto the pitch.
