WATCH: Thrill-seeking daredevil makes death defying parachute jump from Dublin crane

This is the moment a daredevil Dubliner took to the skies above his home city before embarking on death-defying base jump.

The thrill-seeker jumped hundreds of feet from a crane in what he called a "secret Dublin location" on Easter Sunday.

And the patriotic Dub used a parachute decked out in the colours of the Irish flag while he embarked on the breathtaking stunt.

A camera that appears to be mounted on the madcap stuntman's helmet captures some spectacular shots of the city as viewers trace his nervy footsteps to the edge of the crane.

The video shows the fearless adventurer walk to the edge of the massive crane before plunging a heart-stopping distance in a matter of seconds and landing on a nearby sports pitch.

And while all ended well for this daring diver, we can't say we'd recommend that anyone else follow his lead.
