UFC Fight Night: Eye vs. Calvillo opened with some wild early finishes on the prelim card, as the first three fights of the night ended within the opening minute of the first round.
In the first bout of the evening at the UFC Apex, Christian Aguilera earned a TKO victory in his UFC debut at 59 seconds against Anthony Ivy. Aguilera hurt Ivy with a combination that backed Ivy up against the cage, and sensing that his opponent was weak, Aguilera unloaded with a flurry of shots that eventually forced the referee to step in to protect Ivy and wave off the fight.
In the next fight, Tyson Nam dropped Zarrukh Adashev with a devastating right just 32 seconds in.
The action continued in the third fight, as Julia Avila scored a TKO victory over Gina Mazany in just 22 seconds.
