Firefighters tackled a major car blaze in Poplar on Thursday night, with social media footage showing vehicles engulfed by intense flames.
Three fire engines and around 15 firefighters responded to the fire on Abbott Road at 9.04pm on July 17. Two cars were completely destroyed, while three other vehicles suffered damage in the incident.
Images shared online captured the dramatic aftermath, revealing severely burnt-out vehicles with firefighters working nearby.
Crews from Millwall, Poplar, and Homerton fire stations brought the fire under control by 10.02pm.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the London Fire Brigade.
