Watch this amazing Leeds United supporting pet parrot sing the club's chants

She may be a Panama Amazon - but at heart Kiko the parrot is Leeds United through and through.

At the age of two, Kiko the parrot - named after goalkeeper Kiko Casilla - has begun to pick up Leeds United chants after hearing her family sing club's famous anthem, 'Marching On Together' on matchdays.

After just months of hearing the song around the household, Natalie Chadwick could not believe what she was hearing when Kiko starting singing 'Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!' to herself!

Natalie and her family have owned Kiko since she was four months old and was shocked to discover how smart she was.

Natalie said: "When we picked her up and got her in the car, she said hello!

"We have owned birds before, but they've not been as clever as her.

"Ever since then, she's just continued to pick up everything we say really - it's absolutely mad how smart she is."

Leeds United are a huge part of the Chadwick household, with the family watching all the games together, and her eldest son is currently on the books with the club's youth set-up.

After the parrot began chanting a few weeks back, she had tried to capture the footage to post in a Leeds United fan group on Facebook.

However, Kiko remained stubborn.

Natalie said: "She never does it on cue!

"It's like she knows when we are recording her and she'll just stop."

The family then realised that Kiko always sing when in or just after a shower.

And finally this weekend, Natalie was able to capture the footage after Kiko had her wash.

Natalie said: "We've been trying to record it for so long. It was great to get the footage and share it with the fans - they all loved it!"

Hundreds of Leeds' fans have commented on the video, with one saying: "I've been trying to get my parrot to sing it for six years!"

However, this is not the only chant that Kiko has sung, with Natalie stating that he has sung United star Pablo Hernandez' chant on a couple of occasions.

Natalie added: "She's an amazing bird and she really is part of the family now - we're lucky to have her.

"If she ever sings anymore chants, we'll let the fans know!"
