Watch thieves steal locked bike in five seconds flat in Bristol

Police have released shocking CCTV of the moment two thieves steal a bike from outside a Stapleton Road church on Christmas day.

The footage, which was captured outside Kensington Baptist Church, shows two men unlocking and taking the bike in a matter of seconds, shortly after 11.20am on December 25, 2018.

A man on a blue or green coloured bike is shown cycling to the outside of the church, getting off his bike, and approaching another bike which is secured to the railings outside the building. He then uses cutters to snip through the security chain.

Seconds later, a second man appears on foot, jumps on the bike, and is shown to cycle it away followed by the man who cut the bike chain.

Police have released the footage in a bid to identify the two men, and are appealing to them - or anyone who may recognise them - to get in touch.
