Watch the Nissan LEAF's growing appeal for 2022

NISSAN is revitalising its all-electric LEAF family car for the spring with a refreshed exterior design and innovative technology.

The Japanese marque is enhancing the EV’s kerbside appeal with intricate styling refinements such as sportier 16 and 17in alloys with a slick black fascia – providing a more premium feel.

The 2022 model also features Nissan’s new brand logo on the wheels, front grille and rear and customers benefit from a refreshed line-up of exterior paintwork choices, including a rich, mature Pearl Blue and vibrant Magnetic Blue.

Offered with two battery options that deliver up to 239 miles range, on-board tech enables the LEAF to automatically stop, start and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, and allows for one-pedal driving thanks to the regenerative braking set-up.

A suite of infotainment services not only provides full smartphone integration but runs to remote operation of features such as climate control.

And, from the second half of the year, customers will be able to link their LEAF to their Amazon Alexa smart home device for added convenience.

The new model will be available to order from next Tuesday (March 1, 2022), with prices starting at £26,995 after the government plug-in grant has been applied, with deliveries expected to start in April.
