Watch the moment of road rage when an angry driver repeatedly reverses into another car

This is the shocking moment that an angry driver repeatedly reversed into another car during a road rage attack.

The footage was captured on nearby CCTV and shows a Blue Vauxhall Astra smashing into Lee Marie's Red Ford Focus after the motorists had an exchange shortly before.

Mr Marie slowed down to let a lorry turn, and he claims the driver in the Astra, who was behind Mr Marie at the time, got frustrated and blasted his horn.

Mr Marie then exited his car to speak to the other driver, who he describes as Asian and in his 20s.

Startled drivers watched on as Mr Marie gestured and screamed through the closed window of the other motorist’s car – even trying to open his door.

The Astra driver, then allegedly gave Mr Marie a 'load of abuse' before driving round him, BirminghamLive reports.

The enraged motorist is filmed driving round Mr Marie, nearly hitting him, before reversing into his car TWICE.

The Astra driver allegedly fled the scene after the shocking incident which took place at around 11:20am on Monday (April 1) in Walsall.

The incident was reported to West Midlands Police.

Mr Marie said: “I slowed and stopped to allow the truck to cut across but as I am doing so the car behind is beeping its horn.

"As I looked into my wing mirror, I could see him giving me a load of abuse.

“He kept suggesting I stand in front of his car so he could run me over.

“I stayed just to the side of his vehicle and as you can see him he nearly hit me before reversing twice into the car and then speeding off.”

The video, which has been viewed thousands of times, has sparked a huge debate online.

One said: “Pity you didn't have a dashcam, but no matter as we can see plenty of witnesses.”

While another added: “A classic case of ‘keep your nose out of someone’s business’.

“You had no need to get out the car. Unless you are getting out the car to be a mad man then always presume the bloke in the other car is even more of a mad man.

“Should have just drove on and minded your own business.

“Don’t start nothing then won’t be nothing.”
