The footage above shows the moment that Leeds supergran Grace Burns defied logic to complete a gruelling 80-mile run on the same day she celebrated her 80th birthday.
Grace Burns, nicknamed "Amazing Grace" by her friends, finished the challenge after running ten miles over eight consecutive days, finishing on Tuesday, June 16 - the day of her birthday.
She raised a whopping £2,449 for Breast Cancer Action in the process, smashing her original target of £750.
On Tuesday, as she got back home after finishing her final ten-mile leg, her whole street in Garforth came out to cheer her on - before singing her happy birthday.
Grace chose to raise money for the charity after twice battling to overcome cancer. She celebrated her 55th anniversary with husband Andrew last year, and as he battled the disease, the pair raised £1,500 for charity.
She told LeedsLive: "Things have changed since I was first diagnosed with cancer. The experience wasn't so good the first time (in 1985), but we have a spirit of fighting things in our family - you get up and get on with it.
"But when the secondary cancer came back, I couldn't believe the constant care people now get. It's lovely, and makes a big difference, to see nurses check in after your treatment.
"Last year me and Andrew celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary, and because we thought we might not manage to get to our 60th, we raised £1,500 for Leeds Cancer Centre, but that was just through our friends and family.
"It's been amazing to see where all the donations have been coming from this time. I just can't believe that this has happened."
