Watch the mass singalong on the Metro as Spice Girls fans head back to Newcastle after concert

They did plenty of singing at the concert itself and Spice Girls fans were in fine voice as they made their way back to Newcastle from Sunderland.

Thousands of Spice Girls lovers flocked to the Stadium of Light on Thursday night as Emma, Geri, Mel B and Mel C arrived at the Stadium of Light on their Spice World tour.

And the Spice Girls setlist ensured that there was plenty of singing to be done from start to finish.

Spice Up Your Life kicked things off in serious style and then fans had an absolute ball as the likes of Who Do You Think You Are, Say You'll Be There and Holler were pulled out of the locker.

There were hand in the air moments aplenty for number 1 ballads Viva Forever, Goodbye, Too Much and 2 Become 1, but it was two songs at the end of the set that really took things up a notch.

And it was Stop and Wannabe that fans were still singing once they were on the Metro home to Newcastle - as you can see in the video above, sent in by Sean Knox .

Even after facing rather lengthy queues to get on a Metros, they were all clearly in high spirits as they belted out the two Spice Girls classics in the packed carriages home.
