So Love Island has its first Geordie winner after Gateshead girl Amber Gill triumphed in the final alongside Greg O'Shea.
In her own words, Amber had a "rollercoaster" of a time in the villa, with all the Michael drama, but she paid tribute to Greg for building her back up and putting a smile back on her face.
And while they weren't favourites to win, Greg and Amber beat bookies tip Tommy & Molly-Mae to win the £50,000 prize.
Amber herself was stunned but absolutely delighted and the reaction back home was insane!
A number of Love Island parties took place in Newcastle on Monday night, with the one that drew the biggest crowd taking place at Stack.
Among the large turnout at the Pilgrim Street haunt were Amber's friends and family, including mam Vanessa and dad Leon.
And the reaction when Caroline Flack announced was crazy, as you can see from the video above.
