Watch: The Curious Case of Baker’s Shoulder

Cleveland Browns Baker Mayfield is reportedly going to practice in some capacity on Wednesday, according to Josina Anderson of NFL Network. Before the Browns 17-14 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports came out with news on the condition of Mayfield’s shoulder. The report stated he had a fully torn labrum and a fractured humerus(shoulder) bone. Still there were reports that Mayfield was attempting to play this Sunday against the Steelers.

This raises a number of questions and we set out to answer them in an interview with Brian Scott, Host of ‘The Injured List’ podcast. The former athletic trainer and sports medicine expert joined me to break down Baker’s injury situation. We take a look at how he could possibly play with a fracture. What kind of fracture he likely has if he is trying to play with it? Can he do long-term damage? Will he need surgery? and much more… Enjoy!
