It wasn’t a good night for the Ohio State men’s basketball team. It had a slew of turnovers, a myriad of lost opportunities, and timid play throughout. In the end, it dropped a game to Illinois at home that it simply had to have.
Now the road gets extremely bumpier going forward. Truth is, it’s going to be a major challenge to stay in that bubble territory for the NCAA Tournament with a stretch of games against the top half of the league — some notable ones on the road.
