WATCH: The best of Jayson Tatum’s 2020-21 season with the Celtics

Despite a disappointing season for the Boston Celtics in 2020-21, All-Star Jayson Tatum was surely the bright spot, proving himself as one of the best young players in the entire league.

In his fourth season in Boston, Tatum averaged career-high’s across the board with 26.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. The Duke Blue Devil made his second All-Star appearance and just missed All-NBA honors.

Tatum had several memorable games this season, including three 50+ points performances (four if you count the play-in tournament). Two of those performances came in the regular season, including a career-high 60 points on April 30 against the San Antonio Spurs, which tied Larry Bird’s franchise record. In Game 3 of the first round series against the Brooklyn Nets, Tatum dropped 50 points, dragging the Celtics to their only win of the series.

This summer, Tatum will look to add to his resume by playing for Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics in attempts to earn his first Gold medal.

Check out the video above of Tatum’s best highlights of his 2020-21 season with the Celtics.
