One of the biggest additions to Boston Celtics fourth-year shooting guard Jaylen Brown’s game this season has been his newfound passing ability.
Critics of the Cal-Berkeley product had long complained Brown’s limited ability to move the rock elsewhere when he finds himself without a shot saw one of their primary issues with the Georgia native’s play significantly improved in 2019-20 season to date.
Whether it was near-basket dishing to open shooters or launching passes upcourt with well-aimed outlet passes, the former Golden Bear has become a more than competent distributor, elevating his assists per game from 1.4 per game in 2018-19 to 2.2 this season.
