Watch the Aston Martin Valkyrie in Valhalla in action at Silverstone

LUXURY sports and supercar maker Aston Martin has been showing off its latest mid-engined Valhalla sports car alongside the highly anticipated Valkyrie hypercar.

The British marque has put both groundbreaking models – born from Aston Martin’s collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies – through their paces at its official development facility at Silverstone.

Though making greater concessions to practicality and road use, the brand insists the Valhalla benefits from the same state-of-the-art F1 technology and unrivalled active aerodynamics so that it will deliver impressive levels of handling performance to match its big brother.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie and Valhalla (Aston Martin)

Powered by a bespoke Aston Martin V6 twin-turbo engine, it’s claimed the Valhalla will surpass figures shown in today’s hypercar world, underlining its own elite status.

Strictly limited to 500 coupes worldwide, the programme remains oversubscribed as Aston Martin continues to handpick the final lucky customers who will have the opportunity to own this extraordinary machine.

In contrast, the sold-out Valkyrie’s testing programme continues apace, with the first customer delivery scheduled for later this year, when, boast Aston Martin, the model will claim its unrivalled position at the top of the automotive arena.
