WATCH: Texans S Tashaun Gipson intercepts Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Houston Texans safety Tashaun Gipson got his second straight game with an interception when he picked off Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes with 8:42 to go in the second quarter of their Week 6 contest Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.

There was a miscommunication, and Mahomes was hurling a ball towards the left corner of the end zone, and Gipson made a play on the ball to secure his second interception of the season.

The Texans drove 80 yards with the free possession, scoring a 2-yard touchdown on a Carlos Hyde rush.

The interception gives Gipson his first season with multiple interceptions since 2017 when he recorded four with the Jacksonville Jaguars. It is his fifth overall.
