Houston Texans safety Lonnie Johnson intercepted Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on the first play of Buffalo’s initial offensive series.
Johnson returned it back to the Buffalo 13-yard line.
Safety Justin Reid said on Sept. 30 that Lovie Smith’s defense gives defensive backs the opportunity to make plays.
“When I see opportunities to make plays, I have the green like to go and do it. I love the system, I overall feel more healthy, and going into four years in the league, I just have a different level of confidence and maturity with being able to diagnose what’s happening on the offensive side of the ball, because you’ve seen it a couple years in a row,” said Reid.
The same is true for Johnson.
