WATCH: Texans RB Carlos Hyde breaks free, then fumbles the ball

He could go all the way!

Nope.

Late into Houston’s win over Jacksonville in London, Texans running back Carlos Hyde gashed the Jaguars defense for a 60-yard scamper. He would’ve made it into a 60-yard touchdown run, had he not fumbled the ball.

As Hyde neared the end zone, Jaguars safety Jarrod Wilson plucked the ball out of his right arm. Instantly, the veteran regretted not switching hands before he hit the end zone.

To Wilson’s credit, he made an excellent hustle play. Had he not kept-up with Hyde, there was nothing stopping him. He would be in the end zone celebrating for scoring against his former team. The Jaguars got the ball back at the 20-yard line.

Touchdown or not, Hyde got the last laugh on Sunday. The Texans cruised to a 26-3 victory at Wembley Stadium. In the process, Hyde had a career day, as he rushed for 160 yards on 19 attempts, good for whopping 8.4 yards per rush attempt.
