WATCH: Texans QB Deshaun Watson throws TD pass to WR Brandin Cooks off a flea flicker

Houston Texans offensive coordinator Tim Kelly has said there is no such thing as the perfect play-call.

However, the flea flicker dialed up on first-and-10 from the Tennessee Titans’ 38-yard line with 8:15 to go in the third quarter was as good as it gets.

Running back David Johnson took the handoff and was seemingly stuffed at the line of scrimmage. The former 2016 All-Pro tossed the ball backwards to quarterback Deshaun Watson, who found receiver Brandin Cooks streaking downfield for the touchdown.

Kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn missed the extra point. The Texans pulled within 24-15 in their Week 17 tilt to close out the 2020 slate.
