WATCH: Texans QB Deshaun Watson shows off his accuracy

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for a 68.3% completion rate in 2018. If any accuracy naysayers persist, however, all they need to do is watch this video of Watson crushing two clay targets with sharp passes, via Legendary Shots.

Hitting a target isn’t a problem for Watson. Not only did he record a 68.3% completion rate in 2018, but his true completion rate for the year also stood at 71.6%, per Player Profiler.

Watson has always been an accurate passer, according to coach Bill O’Brien who said during training camp: “I think he’s always been an accurate passer, I really do. I think he’s a very accurate passer.”

On the field, he’s getting better in doing so with experience, as he said after a week of training camp, “rally just experience [is how I get more accurate], knowing where to go with the ball and just timing. Just kind of getting on the same page and knowing exactly what we want to do on offense.”

Luckily, Watson won’t have to go skeet shooting with footballs anytime soon. He’ll be playing the real deal on Monday, against the New Orleans Saints.
