Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Waston’s chemistry with receiver DeAndre Hopkins has not waned despite the lack of preseason reps.
Late in the second quarter at the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, on a third-and-goal from the 2-yard line, Watson dropped back and threw a pass for Hopkins that the All-Pro receiver hauled in for a touchdown to help the Texans take a 14-3 lead over the Saints in their own venue.

Houston has not won a season opener since 2016, but the Saints have not notched a win since 2013. The Texans appear to be off to a great start to their season.
