WATCH: Texans QB Deshaun Watson bowls over Patriots for touchdown run

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, then Deshaun Watson was flattering Cam Newton pretty well in the second quarter of Sunday’s game at NRG Stadium.

The Houston Texans quarterback dropped back on a second-and-goal from the 4-yard line. With a closing rush lane to the end zone available, Watson took it and bowled over New England Patriots defenders to score the 4-yard touchdown and put Houston ahead 14-10 after the extra point with 3:58 until halftime.

The scoring run also makes Watson the fourth quarterback in league history with at least 250 rushing yards and 15 passing touchdowns in each of their first four seasons. The other three guys in that stat are Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, and Newton.
