The Houston Texans finally got their first touchdown to a wide receiver for 2020.
On third-and-7 from the Steelers’ 28-yard line, quarterback Deshaun Watson dropped back and threw a touchdown pass to receiver Randall Cobb that was one part throw, one part YAC.
What the play showed is that the Texans may finally be awake after two weeks of preseason-like play from the offense. Houston appears to be on a mission at Heinz Field. With Watson connecting with Cobb, it shows the offense is coming alive, which is the Texans’ saving grace.
