WATCH: Texans’ Deshaun Watson hits DeAndre Hopkins for second TD

Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had some goals to cross off the 2019 season. One of them was not having any drops — which he failed. However, another was recording the most touchdown’s for a receiver in a season.

Hopkins is still on pace to accomplish the second, as, during the Texans’ “Monday Night Football” bout against the New Orleans Saints, he scored his second touchdown of the game via a Deshaun Watson pass.

Hopkins touchdown was his second of the game in the red zone. It should come as no surprise that the Texans receiver did so on plays coming out of a slant or skinny post route; targetting him on those routes is one of Bill O’Brien’s “sure thing” calls in his playbook.

Though Hopkins got out to a slow start, dropping three balls in the first half, it didn’t take the two-time All-Pro long to show why he’s a 99 overall in “Madden 20.”
