WATCH: Texans DE J.J. Watt gets career sack 100

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt collected his 100th career sack Sunday afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 9 at TIAA Bank Field.

Watt came around the right side and strip-sacked rookie sixth-round quarterback Jake Luton, who was making his first career start. The sack went down as Watt’s 25 forced fumble.

Since 1982, when sacks became an official statistic in the NFL, Watt’s 100 sacks are the fourth-most for a player through his first 120 games. Only Reggie White, DeMarcus Ware, and Bruce Smith had more sacks through their first 120 career games.

The Texans are holding on to their tenuous lead over the Jaguars 27-25 with 1:30 to go in the fourth quarter between a battle of two 1-6 teams.
