It couldn’t have played out any better for Ohio State wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
McLaurin wasn’t just a top-100 pick by the Washington Redskins on the second day of the 2019 NFL draft: he also wound up reunited with his college quarterback, Dwayne Haskins.
Haskins, of course, played a role in convincing the Redskins to get his college wideout to Washington. And yes, the reunion was a big part of the above phone call, where McLaurin hopped on the phone with Dan Snyder and others.
It’s always fun to see these moments and McLaurin’s is no exception — the fact his family was there and they learned he’d be back in the fray with Haskins makes it all the better.
