These pictures show the moment a swan terrified a motorist when it flew into her moving car, shattering the windscreen.
Emily Keady, a 21-year-old professional dog walker, was driving through a suburban housing estate when the incident happened.
Dashcam footage captures the huge white bird descending towards the car before colliding with the windscreen directly in front of the driver's seat - causing a huge splintered indent in the glass, report Birmingham Live.
Emily, driving her Citroën Berlingo van, can be heard screaming in terror while her passenger shouts "oh my God".
Despite shattering the windscreen, the sturdy swan appeared unharmed and waddled off.
Emily - who was driving from her home to a job in Newcastle upon Tyne when the incident happened - was also unhurt, though she admits to being shaken up by the experience.
Her dad Andrew Keady, 56, said: "She was pretty shaken up, but she was more concerned about if the swan was OK.
"You do usually see the swans in a nearby park but we've never seen anything like that.
"She gave me a call so I could help collect the van.
"It was just walking up and down the street by the time I got there. It didn't seem at all bothered.
"We got in contact with the RSPB and RSPCA but they said there was nothing they could really do.
"If it was walking about, pretending like nothing had happened, then I suppose it was alright.
"It didn't do too much in the way of damage. She was able to replace the screen the next day."
